TOYO STEEL × TRAVELER’S COMPANY
50年以上に渡り高品質の金属製ツールボックスを作り続けている「東洋スチール」が、「トラベラーズカンパニー」とのコラボレーションで製作したオリジナルツールボックスが登場します。
東洋スチールは、「頑丈で耐久性に優れた金属製」・「継ぎ目のない絞り加工」という基本価値のもとに、豊富なサイズをラインアップしたさまざまなバリエーションのツールボックスを大阪の工場で作っています。継ぎ目のない絞り加工により、丈夫で角がない優れた耐久性と機能性が特徴です。
コラボレーションで製作したツールボックスは、4種類。パスポートサイズのリフィルがちょうど収まるT-152、ペンやハサミ、マスキングテープなどステーショナリーの収納にも便利に使えるT-190には、オリジナルロゴを刻印。あえて色塗装を付けずにスチールの無垢な質感をそのまま活かして仕上げています。鉄の板をプレスすることによって現れる質感の違いや色の濃淡など、無垢ならではの個体差も魅力です。
工具箱らしい山型のボディにハンドルが付いたY-280は、トラベラーズノートに加え、ペンケースやリフィルなどをまとめて収納可能。スチールの無垢の質感に加え、ロゴを刻印した真鍮のプレートを付けています。さらにペンケースにも便利なCOBAKO Y-17をラインアップ。
これらのコラボレーションアイテムは、5月14日（木）よりトラベラーズファクトリーオンラインショップで先行発売。トラベラーズファクトリー中目黒・ステーションでは6月10日（水）より、京都では6月11日より発売します。

TRAVELER’S COMPANY collaborates with TOYO STEEL, a manufacturer which has been producing high quality metal toolboxes for over 50 years, and exclusively produced original toolboxes for this collaboration will be released.
TOYO STEEL produces toolboxes in many different types based on the fundamental values of “sturdy and durable fine metal” and “seamless drawing process” at the factory located in Osaka, Japan. Solid and rounded toolboxes are durable as well as functional since they are made of a single sheet of metal using this seamless drawing process.
Our special toolbox comes in 4 types. T-152 which can house the refills of passport sized TRAVELER’S notebook. T-190 is perfect for storing stationeries such as pens, scissors or masking tapes with the original logo engraved. All toolboxes are not colored to make use of the solid texture of steel.
Y-280 is a typical mountain shaped toolbox with a carrying handle and able to store not only TRAVELER’S Notebooks but also pencases and refills all together. In addition to the solid texture of steel, a brass plate with its logo is attached to the body. COBAKO Y-17 can be used as a pencase.
Pre-sales of these collaboration products starts from May 14, 2020 at TRAVELER’S FACTORY ONLINE SHOP, and from June 10 at TRAVELER’S FACTORY Nakameguro and Tokyo Station and June 11 at TRAVELER’S FACTORY KYOTO.
