TRAVELER’S notebook Limited Set MOOMIN from the book “The Exploits of Moominpappa”
トラベラーズカンパニーでは、2021年よりその作品にフォーカスしたコラボレーションアイテムを発売してきましたが、このたび、小説『ムーミンパパの思い出』をテーマにしたトラベラーズノートとそのカスタマイズアイテムのセットが新たに登場します。
『ムーミンパパの思い出』は、ムーミン小説として1950年に発表されました。ムーミンが産まれる前、若き日のムーミンパパが自由を求めてみなしごホームを抜け出し、大冒険の末にムーミンママに出会うまでの物語です。スナフキンの父親であるヨクサル、スニフの父親ロッドユール、発明家のフレドリクソン、巨大な竜のエドワード、リトルミイやミムラねえさんなど魅力的なキャラクターも多く登場し、海のオーケストラ号に乗っての航海や、いたずらずきな王さまの園遊会など心が躍るシーンも盛りだくさんの小説です。
コラボレーションアイテムは、小説『ムーミンパパの思い出』に登場するキャラクターたちのセリフと挿絵をピックアップしてデザインしました。
トラベラーズノート 黒の革カバーには、幼いムーミンパパが、みなしごホームを飛び出す決意を固めるシーンのセリフをセレクト。小説はムーミンパパが執筆した回想録という形式をとっています。そのシーンを描いたムーミンパパの挿絵とともにゴールドの箔押しで仕上げました。
リフィルの表紙には、キャラクターたちが勢ぞろいするラストシーンの挿絵と言葉をセレクトしています。

新たな旅立ちへの決意を描いた感動的なシーンです。
チャームは、ムーミンパパが仲間とともに乗り込み、冒険の航海に出る海のオーケストラ号をモチーフにしています。ゴムに通して左右に動かすことで荒波を進む航海に想いを馳せてみてください。ブラスボールペンは、ブルーのボディにスナフキンの父で、根っからの自由人、ヨクサルをプリント。さらに、小説のシーンを挿絵とともに再現した5種類のステッカーを加えて、ムーミンパパの回想録『思い出の記』の表紙のような挿絵とその序文をあしらったボックスにセットしています。
手にすることで『ムーミンパパの思い出』の物語の世界を感じられるトラベラーズノートとカスタマイズアイテムになっています。

Since 2021, TRAVELER’S COMPANY has been releasing collaborative items focusing on the Moomin works, and now we are pleased to introduce a limited set of TRAVELER’S notebook and customized items based on the novel “The Exploits of Moominpappa.”
“The Exploits of Moominpappa” was published as the Moomin novel in 1950. It tells the story of the young Moominpappa, before Moomin was born, who escapes an orphanage in search of freedom and, after a great adventure, meets Moominmamma. The novel features many charming characters, including Joxter (Snufkin’s father), The Muddler (Sniff’s father), the inventor Fredrikson, Edward the Booble, Little My, and Mymble. It’s packed with thrilling scenes, like the voyage aboard The Oshun Oxtra and the mischievous King’s garden party.
The collaboration items feature designs inspired by dialogue and illustrations from the novel “The Exploits of Moominpappa.”
The black leather cover of TRAVELER’S notebook showcases dialogue from the scene where young Moominpappa resolves to escape the orphanage. The novel takes the form of a memoir written by Moominpappa. It is finished with gold foil stamping alongside Moominpappa’s illustrations depicting the scenes. The refill cover features an illustration and words from the final scene where all the characters gather.

It’s a moving scene depicting their resolve for a new journey.
The charm features the Oshun Oxtra, the ship Moominpappa boards with his friends to set sail on their adventure. Slide it along the rubber band to imagine navigating rough seas. The brass ballpoint pen has a blue body printed with Joxter, Snufkin’s father and a true free spirit. Additionally, it includes five types of stickers recreating scenes from the novel alongside illustrations. The set comes in a box adorned with an illustration reminiscent of the cover of “The Exploits of Moominpappa.”
TRAVELER’S notebook and customization items let you feel the world of “The “Exploits of Moominpappa” when you hold them.

This collaboration is only available in Japan under Moomin’s license agreement.
MOOMIN SHOP ONLINE (Moomin official online shop in Japan) will have these items available for pre-sale. Afterward, they will be available for pre-order at TRAVELER’S FACTORY Online Shop from December 22, 2025. (If the number of reservations exceeds the number of items to be sold, a lottery will be held. The product will be delivered in the end of January.)
