昨年、その登場キャラクターの中からスナフキンにフォーカスしたトラベラーズカンパニーとのコラボレーションアイテムを製作しましたが、この度、リトルミイをテーマにしたトラベラーズノート パスポートサイズとそのカスタマイズアイテムのセットがあらたに登場します。
リトルミイは、口調が荒っぽくいつも怒っているような表情をしていますが、実は悪意はなく正直で、親切な一面もあります。体はとても小さいけれど、勇敢で探求心旺盛。言いたいことをきちんと言えて、くよくよするのが大嫌いなミムラ族の女の子です。
自分のことは自分で決めて、突き進んでいくリトルミイは、多くのムーミンファンの共感を呼んでいる人気のキャラクターでもあります。
意地の悪いおばあさんから皮肉を言われ続けるうちに体が消えてしまったニンニには、「あのさ、たたかうってことをおぼえないかぎり、あんたは自分の顔を持てるわけないわ。ほんとよ（※『ムーミン谷の仲間たち』より）」と同情するのではなく戦うことを諭し、センチメンタルになっているムーミントロールには、「あんた、そんなになんでも心をいためることはないわ。さあ、あっちへ行って。あたい、ひと眠りするんだから（※『ムーミンパパ海へいく』より）」とドライに言い放ちます。

コラボレーションアイテムは、トーベ・ヤンソンがてがけたムーミン作品の原型とも言える小説に登場するリトルミイの言葉をピックアップし、トーベによる挿絵とともにデザインしました。
元気に雪山を滑るリトルミイと言葉をゴールドで箔押ししたトラベラーズノート パスポートサイズに、言葉と挿絵を活版印刷したリフィルをセット。リトルミイの後ろ姿をかたどった真鍮のチャーム、ノートのカスタマイズにも使えるステッカーに、リトルミイがいつも着ている赤いワンピースの色で塗装し、挿絵をプリントしたブラスボールペンがセットされています。
自分の心に忠実でいつも前向きなリトルミイとその言葉が記されたトラベラーズノート パスポートサイズとそのカスタマイズアイテムを手にすることで、リトルミイから元気をもらいながら毎日を過ごしていただけたら嬉しいです。

Last year, we produced collaboration items with TRAVELER’S COMPANY focusing on Snufkin, one of the Moomin characters. Now we are pleased to introduce a limited set of TRAVELER’S notebook Passport Size and customized items based on Little My.
Little My has a rough tone and an angry expression on her face, but she is actually honest and kind without malice. Although she is very small, she is brave and inquisitive. She is a Mymble girl who will say whatever she has on her mind.
Little My is a popular character that many Moomin fans can relate to.
When Ninny’s body disappears after being sarcastically criticized by a mean old lady, she says, “You’ll never have a face of your own until you’ ve learned to fight. Believe me (from “Tales from Moominvalley”).” To the sentimental Moomintroll, she tells him, “You shouldn’t feel so sorry for everything,” she said. “Now run away. I’m going to take a nap. (from “Moominpapa at Sea”).”
The collaboration item was designed by Tove Jansson with her illustrations, picking up words from the Moomin novels. It is said to be the prototype of the Moomin works by Tove Jansson.
The set includes a gold foil-stamped TRAVELER’S notebook Passport Size with Little My cheerfully skiing down a snowy mountain and words from the novel. A brass charm in the shape of Little My’s back, a sticker that can be used to customize notebooks, and a brass ballpoint pen painted in the color of the red dress Little My always wears and printed with illustrations are included.
We hope that Little My, who is true to herself and always positive, and her words will inspire you as you go about your daily life with the TRAVELER’S notebook Passport Size and its customizable items.
This product is only available in Japan under Moomin’s license agreement.
It is available for pre-order at TRAVELER’S FACTORY Nakameguro, Tokyo Station, Kyoto and TFA Online Shop. (If the number of reservations exceeds the number of items to be sold, a lottery will be held. The product will be delivered in mid-December or later.)
