お店に込めた想いをオーナーに伺いました。
「店名の“Point of View”には、『視点』や『考え方』という意味があります。その名の通り私たちは、独自の視点で物語を紡ぐクリエイターの方へ、そのための道具とともにさまざまな視点を提供したいと考えています。機能的で使い勝手のよい日常の道具でありながら、それらを日々の暮らしで使うことで、世界の見方や考え方が変わってしまうような体験を生み出してほしいと願っています。“Point of View”を通じて、あなたの創造の時間をより深く、広げてくれる道具に出会っていただければ嬉しいです」
さらに、トラベラーズノートとの出会いについても伺いました。
「トラベラーズカンパニーと出会ったのは、2014年のことでした。旅の途中で偶然、中目黒のトラベラーズファクトリーに立ち寄ったのですが、一歩足を踏み入れた瞬間に『ここは単なる文具店ではない』と直感したんです。
古い木造建築のぬくもり、世界中から集められたようなヴィンテージの品々、そしてふんわりと漂うコーヒーの香り。その空間のすべてが、ブランドの持つ世界観と見事に共鳴していました。それは、旅人にとっての『真の隠れ家』のように、とても自然に感じられたのを覚えています。
当時、私自身が旅の途中だったこともあり、その感動はより深く心に響きました。見知らぬ街を歩き、その日の情景を書き留める。そんな私の日常が、ブランドの掲げる『旅すること、書くことの喜び』というメッセージと重なったのです。その瞬間、このノートは単なる製品であることを超え、私自身の世界に触れる『生き方』や『姿勢』そのものになりました」
We asked the owner about the vision behind the store.
“The name “Point of View” signifies an opinion or a way of thinking. True to this meaning, we propose diverse perspectives and tools for creators who craft stories from their own unique viewpoints.
Grounded in functional and efficient tools suitable for everyday use, we aim to create experiences where the objects of daily life transform the way one sees and thinks about the world. Through Point of View, discover tools that deepen and expand the moments of creation.”
We also asked about their first encounter with the TRAVELER’S notebook.
“I first encountered TRAVELER’S COMPANY around 2014. During a trip, I happened to step into TRAVELER’S FACTORY in Nakameguro, and from the very first moment, I realized it was more than just a stationery shop. The warmth of the old wooden building, the vintage objects and products seemingly collected from around the world, and even the gentle aroma of coffee—everything in the space resonated perfectly with the world the brand embodies. It felt, quite naturally, like a true hideout for travelers.
Perhaps it struck me even more deeply because I was traveling myself at the time. Walking through unfamiliar streets, jotting down the scenes of the day, I found that my own daily rituals overlapped with the brand’s message of “the joy of traveling and recording.” In that moment, the notebook was no longer just a product—it became an attitude, a way of life that touched my own world.”

Coffee Nap Roasters 聖水店は、聖水（ソンス）の閑静なエリアにあります。近くまでくると、周囲には静謐な雰囲気が漂ってきます。それが、この魅力的にはカフェに着いたサインです。コーヒーはもちろん、ベーカリーも素晴らしく、さまざまなコーヒー教室を開催しているのも、このカフェの特徴です。

聖水洞（ソンスドン）に位置する「Movieland」は、デザイン会社 Mobis Group が運営する映画館です。ここでは月に一度、Mobis Group が選定したキュレーターが、作品にまつわる物語を添えて映画を紹介。単なる映画鑑賞の枠を超えた「映画体験の旅」を創り出しています。また、Mobis Group 自らがポスターやグッズのデザインを手掛けていることもあり、映画ファンたちの心に深く響く特別な場所となっています。
