My summer research trip to Rome with TN

I’m a PhD student in classics, and I do research about ancient Rome.
I went to Italy for history and archaeology research in summer 2022, and I traveled with my TN hotel!
I used this TN for both travel journal and a wallet, by inserting a canvas card holder that I bought from Baum Kuchen in Los Angeles.
During this trip, I took pictures of my notebook with a lot of famous ancient (and modern) sites, including Navona Square, Castel Sant’Angelo, Capitoline Hill, and Pompeii!
The rustic and vintage aesthetics of TN interacts fantastically with these ancient sites.
My professor and class mates also really enjoyed watching me taking pictures of my notebooks.
Before I went to a site, I would do research and write down facts about the site in my TN.
During each trip I bought a lot of postcards, and kept every ticket so that I could include them in my travel diary afterwards.
Writing traveling journal really helped me to deepen my understanding of the history of the cities, and rereading my journal now brings me back to that happy trip.
