One day with Vermeer

Last Sunday I went to Rijksmuseum to visit one of the greatest oil painting masters in history——Johannes Vermeer.
During these months the museum is showing 28 of his paintings from all around the world.
Never before have so many works by the 17th-century master been on display.
The exhibition was amazing. I enjoyed each of the moments during this visit.
It was a great experience for me. I also took my Traveler’s notebook with me.
It’s my travel journal I wrote during the visit to Vermeer’s hometown Delf during last autumn .
I must say I am a big fan of his. Although he wasn’t a great traveler, through his paintings he could really guide us to his time, and a moment in his life.
