Kodawari Ramen in Paris!

So happy to have some downtime started retro journaling and documenting my trip to Paris/Angoulême back in March. I missed my paintbrush so much and managed to have some fun painting with watercolour.

These are the fantastic ramen and small dishes I had in Kodawariramen Paris and a glimpse of the interior resembling the Tsukiji fish market in Tokyo.

Later I read the interview of the owner of Kodawari Ramen, the story is so inspiring! He was actually a military pilot from France but since he tasted the first ramen was like love at first sight (!) He had road trips visiting loads of ramen shops and eventually got some help from a ramen blogger to help him line up with some ramen masters in Japan to learn from. He wasn't even able to speak any Japanese at that time!
