Lor mee served in a thick starchy gravy. The thick gravy is made of corn starch, local soy sauce, spices, meat and eggs. The ingredients added into the noodles are usually ngo hiang, fish cake, fried fish,pork slides, half a boiled egg, and other items depending on the stall. Customers also like to add on Vinegar and garlic.
Amoy Street Lor Mee is one of the famous lor mee stalls in Singapore.

Besides, Singapore's National Environment Agency ( NEA) also implemented a mandatory requirement for all diners return their trays and clear their table litter from June 1 to maintain high hygiene and cleanliness standards at hawker food centres.
