I met TN for the first time in 2013.

I met traveler’s notebook for the first time in 2013. Dad asked me to go for a drive and I met it at the rest area on Shin Tomei Expressway. According to my notebook, we were driving to look Mt.Fuji from the highway. At the moment, I was tired of University course and so dad took me for a drive. I found this Traveler’s notebook highway edition Mt.Fuji on sale at the rest area and I was gazing it. Then, dad bought one for me. I still remember the beautiful view of Mt.Fuji on Shin Tomei Expressway. After then, writing a journal became one of my habits.

トラベラーズノートに出会ったのは2013年。父に連れて行ってもらったドライブ先のサービスエリアで出会いました。ノートを読み返したところ当時新東名高速ができて一年経った頃で、高速に乗りながら富士山を見ようとしていたようです。大学で色々煮詰まっていた時に父が声をかけてくれ出かけた先で心惹かれ、サービスエリアでこのノートを見ていたら父が買ってくれました。新東名高速から見た富士山はとても圧巻で、今でも覚えています。それからは日記を書くのが日課になりました。

I took this picture in 2019 when I went to a trip with my family. We stayed at Ryokan(Japanese traditional hotel) which room had a private Rotenburo (open-air hot spring). We enjoyed the room and onsen hot spring very much with nice snowscape. I hope the world get better ASAP and I can go for a trip with my family. For next trip after the disaster, I write a trip plan and wait for the time I will have for sure!!

この写真は2019年に家族旅行をしたときに撮った写真です。父が奮発して病気の母のために客室に露天風呂がついている旅館に泊まり、温泉を楽しみました。雪景色も一緒に楽しめたのを覚えています。今は旅行ができない世の中になっていますが、早くこの状態が落ち着くことを願って、また家族で旅行ができる日を心待ちにしながらトラベラーズノートに旅行プランを書こうと思います。
