Having afternoon tea at a cafe since 1874 in Kumamoto city
This was my first time going to Kumamoto, as the castle was still under re-construction, the cafe 長崎次郎喫茶室 became my must-do no.1!
This cafe started since 1874, in a very old building with bookstore at ground floor and the cafe at first floor. It is in Japanese style and mainly built by woods. I was lucky enough to sit beside the window.
Not only the yummy cafe and nice iced special coffee, it was also great to see the trams and rails outside the window. When the trams got by, I felt the floor shaked a little bit, just a little bit however it was amazing.
Throught the window, I saw people crossing roads, sometimes tourists took photos of the cafe, and students rode bikes home. This was really a wonderful way to enjoy coffee and the splendid city view here.
